Urban Heroes - Sydney
I am working on an exciting photography project that will
promote people within the neighbourhoods
of Sydney.
I am looking for some assistance from you, for this project, to find out about the small business people in your community who play a role in making your life a joy, through their neighbourhood business. It could be the way they know exactly how you like your coffee, their personal sense of style, how they help you find that perfect gift, the way they know exactly what book you will next enjoy reading, the way they recommend an ingredient or recipe that will have your family asking for more, the floral arrangements they create that ensures the recipient will know this gift is from you.
The project is to create a photograph journal coffee-table style book that is a promotional snapshot of individuals and their business, who play an important role in everyday life, within the neighbourhoods of a city. Your everyday life. The location for the first book is Sydney and its environs.

- please let me know when would suit for an initial introduction of me to your nominee to get things rolling

- Photos - a portrait capturing the person’s character and what they are known for within their community/neighbourhood. Photos of the person’s business/work environment.
- A small written excerpt on the person and their business details (name/website/ etc) to be included. What it is about the person that makes them special, to you?
